About Us

Join Our National Alliance of MLB Fans

Our goal is to align 1,000,000+ MLB baseball fans into one "collective voice" to represent MLB fan's best "interests" to  MLB Owners, MLB Players and the MLB Players Association.   This is NOT an effort to coordinate or threaten a boycott.  This is an effort to create an intelligent rational way for fans to be heard and respected!   Join today to create the largest alliance of sports fans in North American history!

Fansalign bill of rights - Fans have real solutions

1. Player   Salary Balancing

The minimum salary for a Major Leaguer should be increased   to $2 million a year. The maximum salary should be set at $20 million per   year. If these numbers are adjusted in the future, the maximum salary must never   exceed ten times the league minimum. Currently Max Scherzer is making 76X the league minimum.

2. Team   Salary Balancing

Fixed Salary Midpoint Structure with a Hard Floor and   Ceiling. Example - Fixed Midpoint   $160M. Any team could spend up to 30%   less than or more than the Fixed Midpoint. A $160M Fixed Midpoint would create a Hard Floor of $112M and a Hard   Ceiling of $208M. This would ensure   that no team spends double what another team spends unlike the 2021 Dodgers   at 600% of the Orioles payroll.  Revenue sharing will be used to supplement   the floor and require mandatory spending on payroll.

3. Maximum   Free Agent Contract Length Equals Service Time to Free Agency

The length of a free-agent contract must be limited. If it   takes six (6) years of service time to achieve free agency then the maximum   length of a free agent contract would be six (6) years. The definition of a "service year   would be > 80 games on the active roster per season to avoid service time   manipulation and provide consistent measurement standards.

4. Draft   Revisions that will Prevent Tanking

Teams need an incentive to win instead of a lottery method   which implies teams are tanking on purpose. The draft order should be changed as follows assuming a 10-team   playoff format. Teams 11 to 20 are   rewarded with draft picks 1 to 10 with draft pick 1 going to the team that   finished 11th in win loss record. Teams 30 to 21 in reverse order will get picks 11 to 20. Teams 1 to 10 will still get picks 21 to   30 in reverse order. This realignment   of the top 10 draft picks will completely stop tanking, encourage teams to   win until the last day of the season and reward teams that just missed the   playoffs.

5. Guaranteed   Home Playoff Game

No more one-game playoff series. If a team makes the   playoffs, its fans should be rewarded with at least one home game.

6. Teams   Must Earn a Playoff Spot

No team under .500 goes to the playoffs. If a team that   qualified for the playoffs has a losing record then their opponent is awarded   a bye since the losing team disqualified themselves.

7. Fans   Get a Seat at the Table

An MLB Leadership team shall be established with fan   representation. The fan representation   must be included in any negotiations regarding the Collective Bargaining   Agreement, rule changes or any topics that impact fans. Since the Commissioner is not independent,   it will be the responsibility of the fan representation to protect "the   best interests of the game".

8. Never   Allow Trading of Draft Picks

Draft picks give fans hope for the future. Inept franchises   would trade away draft picks and undermine their future.

9. Autographed   Balls

260 autographed baseballs would be distributed to fans at   every MLB game. Each player on the 26-man roster would be required to sign 10   balls for each game.

10. Stay   Completely Out of Politics

Fans attend games and watch sports to escape the polarizing political news of the day and have a delightful, relaxing time. When MLB delves into politics, millions of fans are alienated.

I Can't Go To The Game And It Makes Me Very Sad!

I love baseball and  I cannot go because my daddy says the ticket prices are too expensive and he cannot afford to buy me a hot dog and  ice cream.
